RefleX D428 UV Disinfection Chambers
For ultrapure water disinfection and ozone destruction
RefleX D428 UV Disinfection Chambers
An essential component in advanced oxidation processes and water disinfection, RefleX UV Chambers use patented technology to reflect 99.8% of 254 nm UV generated back into the chamber flow.
With a 75% smaller footprint than standard UV systems and two 28” high-output lamps, RefleX D428 UV Chambers provide highly efficient performance with the lowest cost service schedule of any low or medium pressure UV system available.
Take command of more in less space.
RefleX Controllers provide the information you need at a glance – with the ability to control up to four treatment chambers independently from a simple menu.

Maximum UV Penetration
RefleX D428 UV Chambers provide a remarkable level of engineering sophistication to maximize UV reflectivity and UV distribution. Patented chamber technology reflects over 99% of UV light back into the water.
This unique technical advantage also reduces the number of lamps and power requirements by up to 90% compared to standard UV systems.
Minimal Maintenance and Service
RefleX D428 UV Chambers have three basic maintenance requirements:
Lamp: Convenient, dry and tool-less replacement
UV Monitor: Convenient, dry, and only four screws to remove
Cleaning: As needed in a CIP loop or manually brushed.

Specifications:
^ At rated pressure drop.
* Lamp life is based on a maximum of one on-off cycle per day and room temperature water.
+ All units come standard with sanitary tri -clamp fittings for improved reliability, sanitation, and ease of
installation. Alternative connections are available upon request.
Unparalleled Efficiency.
With the smallest footprint in its class, RefleX D428 UV Chambers use as few as one tenth as many bulbs compared to standard UV systems – for the lowest operating and maintenance cost schedule available.
Options and Spares:
Higher reflectivity for higher transmissivity.
The UV transmissivity (UVT) of the treated water, combined with the flow rate
through the unit, determine the UV dosage applied to the water. Particles in
water typically absorb or reflect UV light which affects the water’s UV transmissivity.
RefleX UV Chambers are rated based on a UVT of 95%. The above graphs illustrate the appropriate rating for the D428 based on varying UVT levels. Our technical team provides complimentary UVT analysis of supplied water samples to ensure proper UV equipment sizing.
